Footloose and fancy free

I have no idea what that means. My feet aren't loose and what's fancy free? Fancy things aren't free, they are usually expensive and if you are going for fancy as a verb - what, it's free to "fancy" something? Are you thoroughly confused yet?

Oh, good news, I don't have gout! Turns out I do have a case of the cheapies. I was just cold because I don't like to turn the heat up. This weekend was fabulously comfortable. The kids and I spent some time at the park. Devan was skateboarding and Jordan and I walked. The weather is still really warm but it's damagingly windy. Is that word? Damagingly? It looks weird. Well, it fits if it is a word.

Jordan has her first game this weekend. She is very nervous because she feels very out of shape. It won't take her long to get back into shape but for some reason her age group cannot practice more than once a week. She's going to have to do some running on her own so I'll be going to the park to walk while she runs laps around me. :)

I'm also trying to figure out what kind of toy I am. Well, at least what kind of toy my new boss thinks I am. I did get another day off though. Last week was a three day work week and this week is shaping up to be the same. While I enjoy having the time off, I would enjoy a full paycheck more. This position is turning into a disappointment and fast.

A little funny - the town is set up with the residential areas in subdivisions and there is one overly large subdivision that is very pedestrian friendly. While I'm not keen on the huge subdivision it has everything else we want. As we are considering it as a viable location to purchase I discovered that there is a Clarendon Circle there! How ironic would it be that I move 3000 miles away and end up living on Clarendon again!? *I grew up on Clarendon St in Gladstone. My mom still lives there.* Now if it were "Main St" or even a numbered street or a wood like elm or oak, it wouldn't be as funny but Clarendon? That is not a common name and the idea of us living on Clarendon in Franklin provided the kids and I with at least 1o minutes of fun conversation and hypothetical dialogue. It doesn't matter where we live, if it's not a really common name, Jordan won't remember it. :-)~
