All the high schools here have small playgrounds in a fenced in area. It's a decent idea for teachers to be able to have their small kids in daycare nearby. I imagine it helps them get back to work sooner and the daycare has the same hours so they don't have to worry about daycare being closed on days they have to work. I mentioned this to Devan and he said it is also for the students. Whoa! Hold up! They let the students bring their kids to school. Devan said there are about 15 pregnant girls in his school right now. More proof that there is nothing for the kids to do here and how the south is totally family centric. People actually brag about the fact that their 17 year old daughter is pregnant.
Devan is a poopoo head! He has grown even more and is now 5'11. He's still a dorky kid who needs his mom to help straighten his hair even though he towers over me and has to shave his few lip hairs once a week.
