The kitties have had a treat the last couple nights...grasshoppers. Instead of our boy cat jumping off our second story balcony to chase the, all he has to do is lay on the floor looking cute and they just jump right into our house! I leave the door to the balcony open for the cats and we have had grasshoppers come visit us. This is super exciting for the cats because they can practice their hunting skills. It's cute, the boy cat will catch the grasshopper then carry it around in his mouth while he looks for a good hiding place. Of course it tries to hop away as soon as he lets go so he gets to chase it some more. The only bad thing is that the cats don't eat the bugs so I get to pick up a half dead grasshopper. blech! The one I had to get rid of today is HUGE! If I held my hand out flat, it was the length of my palm! double blech! They are ugly when they are that big.
Congrats to my mom who has been walking diligently and is seeing the results!
My condolences to deanna on the sudden passing of her Uncle Nicky. I'm so sorry.
