There was this horrible smell in my kitchen. I couldn't get rid of it. I scrubbed everything and it was still there. I finally was able to narrow down the area which was around the fridge and the cupboard. I looked in all the cabinets and cupboards and still couldn't find it so I finally came to the conclusion that something must have either died under my fridge or in the wall. It was nasty. I tried to avoid that area but as I was making burgers I grabbed the garlic that lives on our counter - it was hollow...??? Is that right I think to myself. The skin on the outside was totally intact but the inside had spoiled. THAT was the smell!!!! Petrified garlic does NOT smell good.
We are getting ready to go on vacation and I'm very excited to see everyone!
I'm a little nervous about leaving my cats though. They will be locked up inside the entire time and they aren't used to that. I am having someone come over to freshen their water and empty the litter boxes but otherwise they will be all alone. They are going to be traumatized. They would be more traumatized if I took them to a boarding facility so I guess I just have to trust they will be fine just a lot more needy when I get back.
Yay for a busy long weekend to visit everyone!!!! :)

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! I think I just threw up in my mouth! Glad you cornered the smell and got rid of it prior to your trip. Now THAT would have been NASTY to come home to!!
The cats will be okay...they need to let you go so you can come see ME! Hee hee! Can't wait to see you in a few days...safe flight!
